Build leads and business using twitterAs you read this, millions of people and potential clients are “tweeting”. They are tweeting about everything. The overstressed single mother is tweeting about needing a massage, new homeowners are tweeting about searching for a new home and the newlyweds are tweeting about their upcoming wedding. You might be asking yourself, why do I care about strangers tweeting. Well, if your a real estate agent, Im sure you would love to find potential buyers or if you own a spa wouldn’t it be nice to find people in your local area in need or some rest and relaxation?

Enter, Twitter Advanced Search. Lets take a spa owner for example. You can do a search in twitter for “need a massage” and you can add criteria for a radius around your geographical location. The results will be leads, plain and simple. People in your area, looking for a massage and all you have to do is hit reply to contact them. Offer them “The Twitter Special” free 30 minute massage, Im sure you will gain a client for life.

This works for a variety of businesses. Real estate agents can search for “searching for a home” or “buying a house”. Travel agents can key in on people “looking for a vacation”. The possibilities are endless.

You will also have a nice side-effect which is building your reputation on Twitter. All of these messages you send out will also be on your Twitter account, building content and messages for others to see.
